Dr. Ashok Haldia
Independent Director & Chairman at IIIPI
Dr. Haldia is a CS, CMA and PhD. He is the former MD & CEO of PTC India Financial Services Ltd (PFS). He was a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and former Secretary of the ICAI for more than 10 years from 1997 to 2008. He was also a member of Appellate Tribunal for ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI set up by Government of India. He was/has been a member/advisor on a number of committees appointed by Government of India, State Government, ICAI, International Federation of Accountants, South Asia Federation of Accountants, Confederation of Asian Pacific Accountants, CII and ASSOCHAM, ICSI, AASB, ASB. He was a member of committee of ICSI on its Vision -2022 and restructuring ICSI curriculum. He was recognized by South Asian Federation of Accountants for his contribution in its growth and development.
Ms. Rashmi Verma
Ms. Verma (IAS), of 1982 batch from Bihar Cadre, retired from service as the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. She had joined as the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, in May 2017. She contributed greatly in getting India Tourism to 3rd rank in the WTTC report 2018. Before getting appointed as the Tourism Secretary, Ms. Verma was serving as the Secretary in Ministry of Textiles. She had previously served as the Chairman & Managing Director of Bihar Tourism Department as well as Additional Director in Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
Shri Ajay Mittal
Shri. Mittal joined Indian Administrative Service in 1982 and superannuated in February 2018. Prior to his retirement he was secretary to Government of India in the department of personnel & training (DOPT). During his tenure he successfully implemented the Hydro Power Policy of Himachal Pradesh. Further he also implemented ‘Atal Bijlee Bachat Yojana’ as chairman of the HP State Electricity Board. He has also founded an NGO in health sector.
Shri Satish Kashinath Marathe
Shri Marathe is Director at Central Board of Reserve Bank of India and Director of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). He is also an Independent Director of IIIPI. Mr. Marathe holds Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Law (Gen.) from the University of Bombay. He also holds Diploma in Journalism (Gold Medalist) from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Previously he was the Chairman and CEO of The United Western Bank Ltd. and CEO of Janakalyan Sahakari Bank Ltd.
CA. Aniket Sunil Talati
A man of refined thought-process with distinguished academic credentials, CA. Aniket Sunil Talati has been elected as the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the term 2023-24. His contribution to the cause of profession from various professional perspectives has been immense. He is the Director of ICAI Accounting Research Foundation (ICAI ARF), Indian Institute of Insolvency Professionals of ICAI (IIIPI), and Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) India and the member of various other Committees, Boards and Directorates of ICAI. CA. Aniket Sunil Talati is at the forefront of Digital Transformation within ICAI, and numerous digital Initiatives launched under him stand testimony to this fact. CA. Aniket Sunil Talati has been appointed as the Technical Advisor to the ICAI’s Nominee on the PAIB Advisory Group of IFAC and the Technical Advisor to the Board member of SAFA (South Asian Federation of Accountants).
CA. (Dr.) Debashis Mitra
CA. Mitra, Past President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the term 2022-2023, is also a Cost Accountant, Company Secretary, holds a master’s degree in commerce, Law graduate and a qualified Information Systems Auditor and has been conferred the Degree of Ph.D for Thesis ‘A Critical Study of Select Indian GAAP, US GAAP & IAS/IFRS.’
He has acumen in areas like IFRS, Corporate Laws and Audit& Assurance and has experience of over 30 years in Audit and Assurance being involved in Internal Audit of Large Corporates/Entities like BSNL, ITC Ltd., United Breweries Ltd., Tata Global Beverages Ltd., ICICI Bank, Federal Bank & Reserve Bank of India. He has been an Engagement Partner for Statutory Audit of organizations like LIC, NSIC, NIAC, Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd., Assam Industrial Development Corporation Ltd., SBI, Allahabad Bank, United Bank of India, UCO Bank, PNB, Indian Bank, etc. He was Former National President of Institute of Internal Auditors (India).
CA. Sripriya Kumar
Ms. Sripriya Kumar is a fellow Chartered Accountant and Insolvency Professional. She is the central council member, Chairman – Corporate laws & corporate governance committee, Chairman – Women members empowerment committee and Vice-chairman of Committee on IBC, at ICAI. She is a consummate Risk and Forensic Audit professional besides being a prolific speaker on variety of subjects including Insolvency and Corporate Laws.
CA. Gyan Chandra Misra
CA. Gyan Chandra Misra is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, an Associate member of ICSI, a qualified Concurrent Auditor, and an Insolvency professional. He is also a Law graduate and holds a master’s degree in commerce. Presently, he is serving The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as a Central Council Member for the term 2022-2025 & Vice-Chairman of various standing and non-standing committees. He has more than 24 years of professional standing to his credit as an established Chartered Accountant.
He has a rich exposure of entire gamut of accounting, proven adroitness in Audit and Assurance and cognizance in the audit of Capital Market Firms. He has served as a speaker at various forums and addressed many seminars, webinars & conferences on professional subjects including Company Law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Standards on Auditing, CARO 2020, Code of conduct and Professional ethics.

CA. Madan is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost and Management Accountant and an Insolvency Professional. He has an overall professional experience of over 25 years across corporate banking, relationship management, credit and risk management, investment banking, debt advisory, structured finance and institutional wealth management, having worked at State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ICICI Bank.
