Shri Ashok Haldia
Independent Director & Chairman at IIIPI
Dr. Haldia is a CA, CS, CMA and PhD. He is a former Secretary of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for more than 10 years from 1997 to 2008. Dr. Haldia was also a member of Appellate Tribunal for ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI set up by Government of India. He is also the former MD & CEO of PTC India Financial Services Ltd (PFS), an infrastructure financial institution pioneering financing of renewable power projects in India. He was/has been a member/advisor on a number of committees appointed by Government of India, State Government, ICAI, International Federation of Accountants, South Asia Federation of Accountants, Confederation of Asian Pacific Accountants, ICAI, CII and ASSOCHAM, ICSI, AASB, ASB. He was a member a committee of ICSI on its Vision -2022 and restructuring ICSI curriculum. He has contributed number of article in national financial dailies on power/ infrastructure, accounting and accounting, Insolvency and bankruptcy code, corporate governance etc, and in national and international conferences and seminar including at World Congress of Accountants. He was recognized by South Asian Federation of Accountants for his contribution in its growth and development. His contribution in international accounting profession has been highly appreciated.
Ms. Rashmi Verma
Ms. Verma (IAS), of 1982 batch from Bihar Cadre, retired from service as the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. She had joined as the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, in May 2017. She contributed greatly in getting India Tourism to 3rd rank in the WTTC report 2018. Before getting appointed as the Tourism Secretary, Ms. Verma was serving as the Secretary in Ministry of Textiles. She had previously served as the Chairman & Managing Director of Bihar Tourism Department as well as Additional Director in Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
Shri Ajay Mittal
Shri. Mittal joined Indian Administrative Service in 1982 and superannuated in February 2018. Prior to his retirement he was secretary to Government of India in the department of personnel & training (DOPT). During his tenure he successfully implemented the Hydro Power Policy of Himachal Pradesh. Further he also implemented ‘Atal Bijlee Bachat Yojana’ as chairman of the HP State Electricity Board. He has also founded an NGO in health sector.
Shri Satish Kashinath Marathe,
Shri Marathe is Director at Central Board of Reserve Bank of India and Director of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). He is also an Independent Director of IIIPI. Mr. Marathe holds Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Law (Gen.) from the University of Bombay. He also holds Diploma in Journalism (Gold Medalist) from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Previously he was the Chairman and CEO of The United Western Bank Ltd. and CEO of Janakalyan Sahakari Bank Ltd.
CA Atul Kumar Gupta
CA Atul Kumar Gupta is a President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the term 2020-21. He joined the Central Council of ICAI in 2013. He got elected as Vice-President in February, 2019 for the term 2019-2020. CA Gupta is now Chairman of all Standing Committees including Executive, Finance and Examination Committees at ICAI. He is a supporter of putting Indian accountancy profession on global map, CA Gupta has also passionately represented the profession on various International forums through a number of meetings and conferences and making impeccable impact thereat.
CA Prafulla Chhajed
CA Chhajed is a Central Council Member of ICAI and Past president of the Institute. He is a practicing CA with enthusiasm combined with dedication, has always been actively involved with activities of ICAI, with the stepping stone being elected as the Regional Council Member followed by being the Chairman of WIRC. Mr. Chhajed has also been active with the IMC and is a special invitee to the BANKING & FINANCE Committee of IMC. His intellect and acumen has called for him to appear as a guest speaker on various televisions like Star Mazza, IBN Lokmat and DD India.
CA Durgesh Kumar Kabra
CA Durgesh Kabra is a practicing Chartered Accountant having vast experience of more than 25 years in the field of corporate audits, direct & indirect taxation, management consultancy, corporate governance, business restructuring and project financing etc. He is a Central Council Member of ICAI and an active member of ICAI and various social platforms. Presently he is senior partner of DMKH & Co., a Chartered Accountancy firm at Mumbai. He is also Director in IIIPI.
CA Hans Raj Chugh
CA Hans Raj Chugh is a fellow Chartered Accountant, Fellow Company Secretary, Law Graduate and Insolvency Professional. He has more than 28 Years of experience in the professional practice relating to Indirect Tax, Foreign Trade Laws, including Foreign Trade Policy, Customs, FEMA & Banking related laws. He is founder partner in M/s. ASHM & Associates, Chartered Accountants, New Delhi. He is a Central Council Member of ICAI for the Council Term 2019-22 and has been nominated as a Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Members in Industry and Business (CMI&B) and Capital Markets and Investors Protection.
CA Rahul Madan
CA Rahul Madan is Managing Director at Indian Institute of Insolvency Professional of ICAI. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost and Management Accountant and an Insolvency Professional. He has an overall professional experience of 24 years across corporate banking, relationship management, credit and risk management, investment banking, debt advisory, structured finance and institutional wealth management, having worked at State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ICCI Bank.
