Ms. Rashmi Verma

Ms. Verma (IAS), of 1982 batch from Bihar Cadre, retired from service as the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. She had joined as the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, in May 2017. She contributed greatly in getting India Tourism to 3rd rank in the WTTC report 2018. Before getting appointed as the Tourism Secretary, Ms. Verma was serving as the Secretary in Ministry of Textiles. She had previously served as the Chairman & Managing Director of Bihar Tourism Department as well as Additional Director in Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Shri Ajay Mittal

Shri. Mittal joined Indian Administrative Service in 1982 and superannuated in February 2018. Prior to his retirement he was secretary to Government of India in the department of personnel & training (DOPT). During his tenure he successfully implemented the Hydro Power Policy of Himachal Pradesh. Further he also implemented ‘Atal Bijlee Bachat Yojana’ as chairman of the HP State Electricity Board. He has also founded an NGO in health sector.

Shri Satish Kashinath Marathe

Shri Marathe is Director at Central Board of Reserve Bank of India and Director of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). He is also an Independent Director of IIIPI. Mr. Marathe holds Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Law (Gen.) from the University of Bombay. He also holds Diploma in Journalism (Gold Medalist) from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.       Previously he was the Chairman and CEO of The United Western Bank Ltd. and CEO of Janakalyan Sahakari Bank Ltd.

CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, a seasoned professional with strong organizational skills and academic acumen, ascends to the esteemed position of the 72nd President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for 2024-25. With a longstanding affiliation with the Institute, spanning three consecutive Council terms and two terms in the Regional Council, he has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and technological advancements, emphasizing continuous training and upskilling. He has spearheaded initiatives to build leaders for tomorrow, including the CA Business Leaders 40 under 40 campaign. As President of ICAI, he chairs various committees and boards, supporting the government and regulators in advancing the profession nationally and internationally.
CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal has been representing India and the profession on various international forums, striving to position India as a Global Accounting Hub. Currently, he is a member of the International Panel on Accountancy Education (IPAE) Group of IFAC, besides being a Board member of SAFA (South Asian Federation of Accountants). Additionally, he represents ICAI on the Integrated Reporting and Connectivity Council (IRCC) and Board meetings of the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) and ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA). A graduate of Calcutta University, he is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He now strides forward, assuming charge as the President of ICAI, adorned with his accomplishments and propelled by the vision of manifesting the aspirations encapsulated in India@2047.

CA. Madan is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost and Management Accountant and an Insolvency Professional. He has an overall professional experience of over 25 years across corporate banking, relationship management, credit and risk management, investment banking, debt advisory, structured finance and institutional wealth management, having worked at State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ICICI Bank.
